About Old Yale
Scott jackson has been building and running the business for nearly 25 years. he has been wearing many hats from management to hands on building. The first 7 years he built an average of 2 homes per year. After being in business for 10 years he began building primarily for the asian market. The demand for this product was high. They wanted top quality, good prices and fast production. Old Yale built approximately 100 homes for this market up until the Japanese dollar crashed. During this time, we also built many restaurants in Korea. This was a fairly new market, so Scott helped to set up many of these building himself personally.
Approximately 2 years prior to the Asian markets decline Old Yale began marketting in the United States by way of magazine ads and trade shows. we went ahead and purchased an 11 acre building site and were geared up and ready to start mass producing homes. For approximately 6 years, we built a large quantity of homes for the USA market and our crew grew to nearly 30 people. the managing of the operation began to be a challenge with the level of growth.
As a result Scott decided to downsize his operation, in order to ensure the level of quality and service would remain manageable. We presently employ 10 workers and build 5 to 15 projects per year.
